I flipped through catalogs and wondered: What kind of dining set defines me as a person?

iTunes: "Smile Lines" by Incubus (Have I used that song before on a post? Geeze I don't remember. Just ignore it if I have.)
I am: despondent

Uck. Not doing well. I'm in a terribly and quite obnoxiously depressing mood and for some strange reason I can't stop quoting Fight Club. "You have a kind of sick desperation in your laugh."

Need Kool-Aid to be whole again. Need 15 hours o' sleep. Can't properly produce a sentence for this post. Oh wait, there's one.

One for the ladies

A guy from work insisted upon me watching "Reign of Fire" claiming that it was one of the most awesome movies of 2002. I mentioned that I had heard of the film and had no interest in "Matthew Ma-Con-A-HEY!" because his last movie sucked. He convinced me to borrow his DVD anyway. Imagine my surprise when I began watching "Reign of Fire" expecting a 2 star movie, with mediocre acting, only to find Christian Bale being as awesome as ever and sporting a fine British accent. Sure, the movie has other fine aspects. I mean you can't really go wrong with fire and Jurassic Park Style dragon that eat people whole (oh man, that was such a wicked scene). Ok, I'll admit that it could have been better but it kept my interest and not just because Christian Bale is a hottie. It was well acted all around.

I must re-enact one scene from the movie though, a highlight of sorts...

Matthew McConaughey: Grrr I'm an ex-marine on steroids who needs 200 men to go on a suicide mission to kill a dragon so that I can go on killing other animals!
Random members of the small society: They may take away our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM! Oh wait, wrong movie. We mean, YEAH we'll help you slay the dragon! Lead us to our deaths!
Christian Bale: Wait! Matthew you can't take my men. That's just not cool dude. Let's sit down and have a nice cup of water and talk this over.
Matthew: Well, I was just going to put a gun to your head an force your people to come with me but water sounds so much nicer!
Christian: Ok, let us adjourn to my hobbit hole ::Matthew turns around to go inside:: SUCKER! ::Christian Bale sucker punches Matthew McConaughey::
Matthew: Oh so that's how it's going to be then, huh? ::Rips off shirt exposing overly muscular body [which grosses me out by the way] and begins to kick the crap out of Christian::
Christian: OH! I KNOW YOU DIDN' JUST TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF! Look, there is only room enough for ONE shirtless actor in this movie and that's me! ::sadly attempts to punch Matthew::
Random members of the small society: Hmm, maybe we should break this up considering that we are the last of the human race and we really can't afford to be killing each other. ::pulls the two apart::
Matthew: Ok, Christian, you've one this round but the next movie we're in together I'm going to be shirtless first! ::Spits on Christian::
Izabella Scorupco: ::approaches a broken Christian Bale:: Here put some iodine on those cuts. Matthew is a pretty dirty guy, in fact I'm not quite sure where he's been, he is dating Penélope Cruz, and we all know where she's been.
Christian: Thanks! Wanna make out?
Izabella Scorupco: Nah, I'm too pretty for that sort of thing. You can look at me all you want though!
Christian: ::sighs: Darn... well beggars can't be choosers.

Did I mention that the man was shirtless within the first 10 minutes of the film? Did I mention that I am buying this DVD tomorrow? DID I MENTION THATCHRISTIANN BALE IS ORIGINALLY FROMWALESS? YEAH!! He's from the UK ladies...hands-off. He's mine.

Well, I'm off to watch "Requiem for a Dream" which I hear is life changing. I shall let you know in a later post. Posted by Hello

I glued my head to my shoulder, now I have two owies

I have come to the realization that "Just a little while" is one of the DIRTIEST Janet Jackson songs I have ever heard. Let's face it people, Janet Jackson has some pretty gosh darn dirty songs out there. She's not the little Janet we all grew up to love. Why I still have this song on iTunes is beyond me.

Repeating on iTunes: "New Born" by Muse
I am: contemplating world domination

Yet another memorable conversation with Hannah:

Me: I could totally apply at the Mud House but I don't think they'd hire me. I'm not indie enough.
Hannah: I believe that makes you over qualified to serve coffee.
Me: I guess, but during the interview process they'd ask me what my favorite Pixies song was. I'd pretty much be screwed then considering I'm not a fan.
Hannah: Just answer Caribou and you'll be fine.
Me: Yeah I guess, but what if I end up hanging out after work with a bunch of the employees and we get on the topic of what the meaning of life is? I'm CLEARLY not indie enough to answer that!
Hannah: Just say Caribou. They'll think you're a genius. ::mimicking Mud House staff who apparently speak in a somewhat British accent:: "Wow, I never though of it like that. You are so right! Caribou is the answer to life!"
Me: ::silence:: ::thinks:: Ok, so that might actually work for a while but at some point I'd blow it by saying something like, "I enjoy dancing around in a tutu and blowing bubbles on the weekends."
Hannah: Hey! Maybe you'll meet a cute indie boy with glasses who works there who enjoys that sort of thing.
Me: Yeah...(sarcasm) that's what I want. A guy who's fetish is me dancing around in a tutu.

The genius Michael (Natalie/Hannah friend that I am only a friend with through association. Therfore we really aren't friends but then again I am a friend with all creatures of God. I'm just that cute) who respects Jim Croce as much as I do, or atleast he did when I last talked to him at that New Year's Eve party a few years back if I remember correctly which I probably don't, has posted quite the interesting post. I do encourage those of you "Who Put Letters to Other People On Their Blogs, Especially When the People To Whom The Letter Is Addressed Will Probably Never Read The Blog In" to read such post. So I beg all of you, do not give into the trend, stop posting random angry letters, love one another, and rant in the normal way.

When I grow up I'm going to Bovine University

I had almost completely forgotten about this sickeningly cute picture until I saw that Sandor has posted it on his site. I must admit that if I didn't have braces this picture would be one of the most awesome I have ever taken. As for the male appearance in this photo: ladies, this is Kevin and though we make an "adorable couple" (sarcasm) he's just my "consistently hurt on by a motorcycle" buddy. I believe he is available if anyone wants to stalk him. Posted by Hello

This is a freakin' long post so please scroll down

Slowly but surely the "faux-hawk" has been invading homes everywhere. At first, it was only celebrities doing it, here and there you know. Only for those "hip occasions" like the MTV music awards but now everyone had tried it. I believe that it takes a certain type of cool to pull off the Faux-hawk. Seriously now, you've got to have that...look or else you just look like a doofus trying to be cool. To be honest, not a lot of people can pull it off. I've seen people try and oh the tears I wanted to shed for them. Oh the horror! For example: 4 employees of the Springfield 8 have tried to pull it off and only 1 has and very successfully at that.

For your approval, over the next few posts... I submit, the BEST celebrity "faux-hawks"

Clearly Ryan Reynolds pulls off the best faux hawk. ::giggles:: I don't think I need to go into details why. I think you can all see for yourselves. Oh Ryan, your hair always looks wicked. Posted by Hello

Jude Law...ah yes, I bet you all were just waiting for me to mention him. Let us all just take a moment to admire this picture...::stares deeply into screen:: Jude Law looks cool all the time ( I mean have you seen the man smoke? HE LOOKS HOT!) so it's only natural for me to acknowledge his cool faux hawk look. Posted by Hello

Orlando is someone you would think wouldn't be able to pull the faux hawk off because he has this "pretty boy" look but in some weird way, he does it quite well. Bravo Orlando. You have shown me that pretty boys can be cool too. Posted by Hello

Ewan McGregor has one of the "BEST FAUX HAWKS" I have ever seen. I believe I saw an interview where he sported this hair style while talking about Episode 3 looking more awesome then ever and all I could think was, "Dude, can Ewan McGregor get any cooler?" Star Wars + Faux Hawk = perfection!

I am the toxic waste by-product of God's creation

Blasting through the speakers: "Secret" by Maroon 5
I am: melancholy

Uh, I don't feel so awesome. ::groans and grabs stomach:: Ugh... I think I have SARS..ug...

I think I can appropriately describe today by relating it to a piece of dog crap, wrapped in tin foil, and served piping hot. No. That doesn't really describe it. Try to imagine the worse day you've ever had, then imagine it slightly less bad then it actually was and that was my day. It sucked but I'll live. As long as I get some divine sleep I promise I won't strangle the first person I see with my awesome Jedi powers.

The heat is getting to me, I'll kill you momentarily.

After watching Batman Begins for a second time (I love that movie...I would MARRY THAT MOVIE!) I decided that it was time to relive the "Original Batman". I made a mad dash to Hollywood Video and rented the first two Batmans (praise Jesus for Tim Burton). It's so funny because I really didn't remember some of these seriously great lines like:

Catwoman: I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier.

Come on people!! That's quality material people. So, for your reading pleasure, I have here my favorite lines of the movie. Taa da!

Volunteer Bimbo: You're the coolest role-model a young person could have!
The Penguin: And you're the hottest young person a role-model could have.

Selina Kyle: Oh god... does this mean we have to start fighting now?

Catwoman: Batman napalmed my arm, and knocked me off a building just when i was starting to feel good about myself. I want to play an integral part in his degradation.
The Penguin: A plan is forming.
Catwoman: I want in. The thought of busting Batman makes me feel all... dirty. I think I'll give myself a bath right here. [licks herself in a cat-like manner]

Catwoman: Mmm seems like every woman you try to save winds up dead... or deeply resentful. Maybe it's time for you to retire.

Well... Dracula called, and he's coming tonight for you, and I said okay.

Blasting through my speakers: "Under Pressure" by The Used and My Chemical Romance
I am: Being sucked into an "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" trance

I can gladly say that I am responsible for bringing orange soda to the good patrons at the Springfield 8. That's right. Thanks to me, you all will be able to drink sweet sweet orange soda while watching quality movies like "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl: In 3D".

I accomplished pretty much nothing today other than finding random stories to share in our manager meeting. I think I brought a lot to today's manager meeting.

I think I have some sort of viscous spider bite on my arm. Hmm maybe I should do something about that.

Uh..I have to return some videotapes.

In my Ears: "Radio/Video" by System of a Down
I am: orangilicious

I must say that ever since I watched "American Psycho" with Natalie, Hannah, and a random girl named Amanda (who seems very nice BTW) I have had the urge to randomly quote the movie but how do you work something like,

"My need to engage in homicidal behavior on a massive scale cannot be corrected,
but, ah, I have no other way to fulfill my needs. "

into a normal conversation? Surely, I will find a way.

Well, I am saddened to say that Natalie and I are currently fighting. Yes, I am making it publicly known. ::sheds a tear:: For you see, the other night...while watching "American Psycho" we reached the scene in which Christian Bale enters butt naked fashioning only a roaring chainsaw. To my surprise Natalie randomly burst out with, "Is it just me or does Christian Bale bare a striking resemblance to a young Bruce Campbell in this scene?" The room went silent. I immediately turned to Natalie and said, "I cannot believe you disgraced the name of Bruce Campbell by saying such a thing."

Hannah agreed.
I will have to forgive Natalie eventually for such a terrible comment for she did not know better. ::sigh::
On a random, more interesting topic, Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a intensely awesome movie. Ok...I wouldn't go that far, the whole plot was filled with holes but the fight scenes were stellar. "The movie entertained me on a level I didn't even know existed."

Now I’m falling asleep...

In my Ears: "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers
I am: not suprisingly, going to be very very tired in the morning

As I was surfing around joblo.com this morning/evening/whatever you would call it 30 minuites ago, I glanced upon an article about the "Top 10 Dumb Chick Victims" . I must say that I agree with everything that was said, COMPLETELY. What makes me giggle, just a tad bit, was the one part about Final Destination and the TERRRIBLE "dumb chick death" featured in that movie (which is quite funny because I was thinking this exact thing while watching FD on TV a few nights ago)...

As the writer says....

7. Amanda Detmer / Final Destination
Who walks BACKWARDS into the
street and NOT notice a huge bus coming their way? Two words. Peripheral vision. Unless you are completely blind, you should be able to tell from the side of
your eye if you are about to be plowed by a big f*cking bus. Granted, this
character was doomed from the moment she stepped off the plane, and was probably going to die anyways in some other lucrative and imaginative way, but come on!! Use some common sense, girl! Didn’t your mother teach you to look both ways before crossing the damn street?

On the topic of bikes and that sort of thing

In my ears: "Drive my Car" by The Beatles
I am: Burnt to a crisp

I can gladly say that my chances of getting skin cancer are now slightly increased thanks to the sever sun burn that I received a few days ago while riding my bike. I have this nice farmer's tan. I think it's uber sexy.

On a side note, I successfully rode my bike for an hour without hitting a single pedestrian. I think this is a big step for me. It just might be safe enough for people to walk on their neighborhood sidewalks again.

I am now off I do something probably completely unproductive, like stare at the 70% done graffiti project in my garage and wonder why I haven't bought a new can of purple spray paint so that I can finish it.

DYE DYE DYE!!

There is nothing more amusing to me then hearing my family tell me that my hair color is too dark and/or not attractive on me. If you ask me, I look "chiz" awesome. Posted by Hello

Ahh!!! HER HEAD IS ON FIRE!!

Theme music: "Sinner's Prayer" by Ray Charles and B.B. King
I am: the most awesome red-head in the whole freakin' world!

I was kind-of under the weather this morning so, like normal people, I dragged my sorry butt out of bed, found a box of hair dye (I had originally bought for Andrew, who at some point chickened out and decided against changing his hair color; probably a good thing) and dyed the heck out of my hair. I must say, I look hot. Yeah that's right, I lie to myself in order to boost my self-esteem. It usually works for a few hours. Then I have to restort to the comfort of cookies and orange soda.

I also played a viscous game of DDR on xbox live as well. My dream is to beat Natalie. THAT'S RIGHT NATALIE, I WILL BEAT YOU!!! I WILL!!!!

I am off to work now. Yes...work...can you sense the enthusiasm in that sentence?

A few of my favorite thinnnnngs!

Natalie has kindly tagged me forcing me to post at least 10 of my favorite things. This is more difficult than it sounds.

~Bruce Campbell and Bruce Campbell look-alikes and/or impersonators
~Faux-hawks (ohhhh so sexy faux-hawks!)
~The word "Sacagawea"
~The smell of freshly popped, non-burnt, salty, and delicious popcorn when I open the theater
~Hannah and Natalie's witty banter
~The way Dave Eggers can make you laugh at cancer and tiny children being attacked with 12 inch knives.
~Strong Bad Email #68, "Caper"
~ Koosh Balls...KOOOOOSH!
~Orange Soda...I do, I do, I dooo oooo
~ Geico commercials

Note that I didn't mention Ryan Reynolds' fashion sense or hot sauce. I thought the obvious didn't need to be stated.

As if X-Files needed to get any cooler

Theme Song: "Old School Hollywood" by System of a Down
I am: not amused

I was surprise and quite impressed to find out that, yes Virginia, X-Files can get cooler. Upon stumbling upon an old episode at 1 AM, I was shocked to see... the one, the only, BRUCE CAMPBELL! That's right...BRUCE FREAKIN CAMPBELL WAS ON X-FILES! I immediately went all wide eyed and quite possibly stopped breathing for several minutes. Sadly the "not-so-genius" creators of this fine show did not use Bruce to his full potential. For you see, he was playing a devil that was impregnating Multiple women, then stealing their babies in hopes of attempting to father a "normal baby" (aka a child who literally does not sprout horns while still in the womb). It saddens me to say that the make-up that was pasted onto Bruce was...well shoty. While in "devil/demon" form he sported red face paint, plastic horns, and a very pointy beard/chin. Talk about cliche. ::shakes head in disappointment:: I believe a little piece of every Army of Darkness fan died that day.

As graceful as a one-legged platypus

Theme song: "Breed" by Nirvana (which I am convinced doesn't really have any lyrics and consists of 'Cobaine' saying 'dun dunnn dunnn nuu nuuuuu' a bunch of times)

I am: winning the staring contest I am having with my dog

This post really wasn't going anywhere. I just felt the need to show how pathetic my life must be if I am actually investing my time in proving that I can stare at my dog longer then she can stare at me.

Oh but what a lovely way to suffocate

Theme Song: "Back in the USSR" by the Beatles
I am: waiting to take my next final and be done with this "God-Forsaken" school for 3 months

I am about 75% done with my graffiti project and am pleased to announce that I will soon die soon from the fumes I inhaled the other day. Although, when they do the autopsy to find out why a ripe 19-year-old died, they will find that my lungs are coated with a nice thick layer of purple and grey spray paint. Mmm lung paint.

I don't have much time to write because I must be off to take another mind blowing final from the geniuses at SMSU, but this is pretty much the only thing I am going to be able to write today. After my COM 115 test I must be off to my dorm room to clean and check out. I'LL FINALLY BE OUT OF THAT HELL HOLE!

On a side note I was watching Roseanne a few nights ago, don't ask why, and noticed that a very attractive 13/14-year-old boy who played a quarterback resembled a young Stephen Dorff. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, at one time I was obsessed with the hunky Stephen Dorff. Don't get me wrong, the man is smokin' but I'm not into guys who appear in Britney Spears videos and get drunk with Pamela Anderson. Uck. Anyway, so I keep saying to my self, "Man, this kid looks EXACTLY like Stephen Dorff! I wonder if it is." Soon I start doubting myself with little phrases like, "That can't possibly be him." But deep down I knew gosh darn it! I KNEW! The end credit begin to roll and RIGHT SMACK THERE I SEE STEPHEN DORFF'S NAME! I FREAKIN KNEW IT. I was so proud of my self I considered calling Natalie at 2:30 am just to tell her how awesome I was. I decided against that idea and chose to call Andrew the next day at noonish instead. Though it sounded like he didn't care, and was mildly irritated, I know deep down he was crying from the joy from the sheer fact that I could pick young Stephen Dorff out of a crowd. A talent that I'm sure he envies like all my friends.

So excuse me for forgetting, but these things I do...

Song of the moment: "Your Song" by the beautiful and much talented Ewan McGregor
I am: watching "Primer" for the 4th time. I still get a headache when I approach the last 15 minutes.

I found one of my missing Moulin Rouge CDs today. My mother had it stashed away in my car. Which I began to get angry about and then I remember I had put it there when I borrowed her car.

I'm back on a Ewan McGregor kick. Not that Ryan Reynolds will ever be replaced but after listening to Ewan's sweet sweet voice in Moulin Rouge how could you not adore him? Seriously? THE MAN DRESSED HIS 1 YEAR-OLD KID IN A T-SHIRT THAT SAID PERVERT! How awesome is that? Not to mention the extensive nudity. It takes a "real" man to be naked in almost 80% of his movies. Not really. I don't enjoy the nude-ness so much (just ask, Natalie OH THE HORROR OF VELVET GOLDMINE!!) but I'm just looking for reasons to say he's cool.

Over the past few days I have been attempting to teach myself various stupid human ticks such as juggling, coin rolling (over my knuckles like Jude in Road to Perdition. That was so sexy.), and card flipping. So far I have not succeeded in any of these "tricks." Though, today I got an "A" rating on one of my most hated of levels in DDR. I am one dancing fool.

Friday, May 06, 2005

I like to call it, "Maliciously Delicious!"

My head itches again. That could be because I am attempting to think or it could be the "pox."

Anyway...

Song that I desperately want to buy off iTunes: "With a little help from my friends" by Joe Cocker (The Wonder Years Theme Song) I LOVE THAT SHOW!
I am: a rock...I am an iiiiiiisland dun dunnnuuu dun dun (Thank you Simon and Garfunkel. Your music stays in my head for days after I toss the CD out the window.)

There really is not point to this post other than to keep my mind off of the fact that the only food we have to eat in this house is chicken noodle soup and some nasty pasta left over from a few days ago. Oh wait, there's corn bread!

Thursday, May 05, 2005

Obsession is a 9 letter word

I am: Less itchy more...uh..twitchy
Theme Music: I haven't listened to my iPod in at least a week because of the "pox" so this category will be left blank for the moment

NEED....SOCIAL INTERACTION......WITH...... REAL HUMAN BEINGS!! Dear Lord, I have been stuck in this house for so long that I am about to go insane. INSANE I SAY! Last night I was so bored that I started drawing random things like, a pencil, some tape, and then RYAN REYNOLDS! GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Actually the picture looks really awesome BUT I PROMISED MYSELF I WOULD NEVER DO FAN ART!! NEVER!!! Oh the new lows I have sunk to! Now I'm one of the sick, sad, pathetic, people known as fan artists. WHY??? WHYYYYYYYY?!

Disclosure: I totally still think you're cool Hannah. You are the exception to the rule. Your Jude Law picture rocked my face off.

On a side note: I haven't had hot sauce in 2 weeks now because it is stuck at my dorms and I am stuck here. My tongue misses that sweet sweet taste. I had to eat fried chicken last night without it. Uck. It was disgusting. Then today I had to eat cottage cheese without it! Double UCK! I'd love to go to the store and buy so but I'd also love to not contaminate the entire city of Springfield with chicken pox. Hmmm. What will I do?

Tuesday, May 03, 2005

I will consume you CHICKEN POX OF DEATH

So I have the chicken pox. Yep. My life just gets better by the second.

It's day 4 or something (time and space have lost their importance) and my nose has started to run. Not only do I look like some kind of "Boil Child" but now I have snot all over my face. This is how I shall catch a man.

Oh man, you guys should see the honkin' pill I have to take 3 times a day. ITS A FREAKIN BEHEMOTH! The first day I had to take it I freaked out because I cannot take pills. Yes I know it's a psychological thing. The doctor insisted that I wouldn't choke. So I took it home, chopped it up into four pieces, grabbed some sprite, and tried to swallow the stupid pill. Ironically it got lodged in the throat and I ended up heaving for like 5 minutes until it went down. Now I chop that pill up into about 7 pieces. Let's see it get stuck in my throat now! Yeah, that right. I showed that pill who's boss!

On the plus side of everything, when they were making me wait in urgent care for 2 and 1/2 hours (how they couldn't tell I had chicken pox is beyond me) and then checked me in, I found out that I had lost 6 pounds since the last time I was weighed! I can either assume that that was from the chicken pox or I could assume that the working out actually paid off. I'd like to think that the exercise was the reason.

Best use of a Proper Noun

While talking about James Caviezel's beard in Final Cut, I was informed of the fact that James Caviezel played Jesus in the Passion. Upon finding out that fun information I replied, "Wow, he made one hot Jesus!" The room quickly became deathly silent.

Annie: I believe that is, in some way....I'm not sure what way but... sacrilegious.
Me: Haha well I think you mean sacri-licious.

There was about a 5 second pause and then immediate laughter. Though I do enjoy entertaining a crowd I do believe I am definitely going to Hell now. Hmm...

Started a group just to cop the tunes

Personal theme music: "Breaking Rules" by All-Time Quarterback

Thanks to Justin, my CD collection has been extensively extended (haha that's totally a 'Laura Phrase'). I now know of such bands as 'Dispatch', 'Postal Service', and 'All-Time Quarterback.' I can now cruise down the road with the reassurance that no-one, other than Justin, has as a bigger variety in music than me. That's some serious satisfaction right there.

Hannah has kindly agreed to loan me her Jedi costume for work. Hmm, could it be possible that this is the reason that Laura is currently single? Nah. Jedis are cool and sexy. ::thinks of Ewan McGregor, Episode One generation:: Ooh yeah.

I have about 60 self portraits to do in the next 4 weeks. Panic hasn't hit yet. I figure I'll weasel myself out of this problem one way or another. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals ... Except the weasel. Oh Homer, you help us understand the MOST important things in life. ::sigh::

Speaking of art...my art teacher kindly displayed my crappy-est work up in the Art Annex. I am quite ashamed. When I find myself walking down that hall with other people I stick to a strict dialog to avoid any embarrassment...

Me: -looking at own artwork- Oh my GOODNESS LOOK AT THAT CRAP! I would be horrified if I was to put such vulgar work up! It is pure agony to even look upon these pieces!! We must leave quickly before the virus that clearly was infecting the mind of this artist becomes airborne, leaps from the paper, and infects our precious and malleable young minds!
Random friends: Doesn't that sign say your name?
Me: No. No it doesn't. -pushes friends out of hallway and upstairs-

I believe that is foolproof plan.

"The Real World: SMSU Dorms"

It is times like these that I thank God that I live in the dorms because if I didn't I wouldn't be able to witness outrageous "reality TV" drama on a day to day basis.

A few minutes ago, I left the comfort of my room to fill up my fantastic, unbreakable water container at the water fountain. As I shut my door I can hear voices, almost at a screaming level, coming from the direction that I needed to head.

"No Becky, I can't control my breast size!"
"[incoherent mumble]"
"I KNOW I HAVE LARGE BREASTS!"
"...[something probably important to the conversation]...and Bobby was just looking right at them!"

I realize at this point that I am heading into what might turn into something nasty. I continued on to fill up my container.

"It's even harder in summer! ....[blah blah blah] People just stare at them!"
"[curse words....yelling...anger...] YOU SHOULD CONTROLL THAT!"

I pretty much ran away at this point. I didn't want to know where that was heading.

And this is where I met the leprechaun!

Intro Music: "Little Sister" by Queens of the Stone Age (Yes ladies and gentlemen, they are still alive!)
I am: nauseous (I may have just digested some sort of bad chicken sandwich. Oh man but it was so good on the way down but I don't think it'll taste as good coming back up.)

I have become somewhat obsessed with the song "Time of the Season" by The Zombies. I find myself, daily asking myself, "What's your name? Who's your daddy?" It's a quite a predicament I have gotten myself into.

I now must be off to carve into a ridiculous piece of plaster. I must make it beautiful or fear the wrath of my 3D teacher.

On the plus side

Ok...so I may have cursed like, two times tonight but you know, when the war is raging and emotion planes are hovering, the F-bomb is bound to be dropped a few times.

Holy unnatural light Batman!

I am: "a weeeeeeee bit tired" ::said with a Scottish accent::

[Insert incoherent mumbling here]

I wish to sell all my belongings, buy a motorcycle with matching leather coat, and become a tattoo artist. Not really but man, it was nice saying that.

So I believe I have been sitting here for about 15 minutes trying to think up something witty and entertaining to post but you ain't gonna get that from me today. I have nothing. NOTHING I SAY.

Although I do believe I was almost attacked by a vicious gang of squirrels last Thursday. There I was walking to my 3D art class when I had reached the deadly tree covered "acorn point" (known loitering place of small woodland creatures alike). I quicken my pace praying that God would spare me from being nibbled on, one more time. I didn't see them at first, no. They are sneaky for that. To tell the truth I wouldn't have heard them either if one of their young hadn't made the crucial mistake of stepping on that one brittle tree branch. I look up and there they were. There were dozens of them with every angle covered. I panicked. I began to run. Suddenly, one dropped from the sky right in front of me, blocking my path to freedom. We stared at each other for several seconds knowing that only one of us would make it out of this "ally" alive. I had seen the bodies of those, they claimed. Bones and hair would be all that was left of me if I didn't use that 3.5 GPA of mine to escape. We stood there as a gentle breeze blew and chilled the both of us. I called his bluff and ran. He kept his ground. I came within feet, then inches, and then centimeters of him and he still held his position. I jumped, clearing him by at least...2 or 3 feet, running as fast as I could. I looked back to see 5 of their best men chasing after me. I had reached the Art Annex knowing that I was trapped. The closed in on me. I began to pray that my death would be quick and painless knowing that these sadistic "you know what's" would draw it out like a Celine Dion song. Then I heard it, the sound of sweet sweet freedom. "Aww. Aren't they cute Kelly? Here you go; you guys can have some of my cookie." They retreated. FOOLS, distracted by a busty young college student with food! HAHA FREEDOME WAS MINE! I escaped into the Art Annex with time to spare before class.

Yeah, that dude from The Santa Clause

Theme Music: "One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces" by Ben Folds

After arriving home tonight, remarkably earlier than usual, I found myself drawn to the TV like a wicked moth drawn to the light off my Xbox. Well, since I am never home on Friday nights, at some point I seem to have sold my soul to the Devil, and then he turned around and sold my soul to the theater, anyway, I turned on the TV just in time to catch the beginning of some new show called "Numb3rs." Not only was the show witty and more than mildly entertaining, but well, it made math geeks look awesome! Ok, ok. So the whole premise for the show, "A FBI agent's younger mathematician brother helps out on tough cases" is a long shot but hey, if it works, it works! Right? Anyway, so I had been watching this show for about 45 minutes when I find myself oddly attracted to the younger brother, played by David Krumholtz (please go Here for a picture -he's in the blue shirt-that does not do him any justice but does show his current hair style.) Now, yes I realize that at first this man does not seem in the least bit attractive but once you've seen him solve an ongoing FBI investigation with only the use of logic and math, you'll want to be on him like white on rice. I KNOW NATALIE WOULD!! I can't explain it. It's very unnatural.

A semi-intelligent Conversation

Theme Music: I Never Told You What I Do For a Living
I am:Running about

I swear that if any of you even MENTION the nude model I will beat you so hard that Tina Turner will use me instead of her shoe to teach Ike a lesson. Oh Tina. How would we know about your terrible life without fine quality movies like "What's love got to do with it."

Let's just say that our model was peirced and yes. Whatever you're thinking is correct. I felt so dirty after that class. Uck. ::shivers::

So here I was about to post something absolutely awesome and I realized that I must head off to class. Stupid class.

Theme Music: "Time is running out" by Muse

I am: Sickened by the fact that I just ingested an entire can of cheese.

Paula Cole may be the devil. I'm not quite sure but futher tests will need to be performed.

And the Lord saith "Thou Shalt Be Nakie!"

Yeah so, on Monday my Drawing class starts drawing nudes. Oh yeah. That's exactly what I want to see at 8 am (do you sense the sarcasm?).

He has a history of disappearing off the face of the earth

I am: probably going to get cancer from using this laptop
Theme Music: "In Bloom" by Nirvana [I only picked this song because of the line 'Nature's a whore' and that makes me laugh]

Apparently Andrew feels to tell freakin' everyone my DS/Cursing story. Geeze.

So there I was...all hyped up and ready to buy a Nintendo DS and totally freaked out because they only had twenty left at Best Buy. I go up to the counter, give them my debit card and wait...and wait...and wait...suddenly "Mr. I-sold-my-soul-to-best-buy" tells me that I have been declined. DECLINED. Look, I KNEW I had enough money to buy that piece of junk. I didn't know what to do. I HAD NO CASH. So I stormed out of the store. Andrew then asks me what was wrong and I look at him and say...

You have to understand I never curse. NEVER. I am uber awesome like that. If I was to ever curse, which does happen, I NEVER say the "f-word."

"They f****** wouldn't let me buy my DS. I am so f****** pissed. I f****** know that I have enough money in my account and now I have to f****** wait for f****** ever until I can get my DS. AHHH! ::mumble the "f-word" a few times::."
Then Andrew asks me if I want him to buy it for me and then I would pay him back when I could.
"No. F*** it. I'm going home!"
Andrew: "Are you coming to church tonight?"
Me: "NO!" ::mumble::

To tell the truth, it really wasn't about the DS. I'm sure that I was having a horrific day. HORRIFIC DAY I SAY!!

Who am I kidding?

It was all about the DS.

This makes me happy. O' so very happy.

I'm not gonna crack.

I : "can't wait to meet you there. "

Theme song: "Lithium" by Nirvana

I'm so happy. Cause today I found my
friends. They're in my head.

I'm so ugly. But that's ok. 'Cause so are you.
We've broke our mirrors.

Sunday morning. Is everyday for all I care. And I'm not
scared. Light my candles.
In a daze cause I've found god.

I am so totally hooked on Nirvana right now. It's become somewhat of a problem. Nirvana has now invaded about 98% of my iPod playlists. It has infected my blood stream like...some sort of infectious thing. Kind of like the Ebola virus. Mmmm Ebola.

I regret to inform all of you that it is valentines day. What will I be doing on this joyous occasion, you ask? Well, I will be driving to a Chevelle concert (Darn you Natalie! We were supposed to ride up there together and complain about stupid people and their stupidity.) Now I must drive up there by myself, a choice that I made myself, so don't pity me. I will make it abundantly clear when I want pity.

I am making it a personal goal of mine to draw all of my friends. Today, I finished 2 portraits and last night I finished 2 or 3. I ended up doing the ones today during Music 241. The girl sitting next to me told me they looked good. Ha-ha it was really funny because the entire time I knew that someone would look over and see what I was doing. I actually expected the girl to say, "He's cute!" because at the time I was drawing Andrew and surprisingly that has happened before.

There are only a few more people I need to draw.

  • Natalie
  • Kevin
  • Nicole A.
  • James L.
  • Rebecca M.
  • Alison G.

Other than that, I have everyone else somewhere, in some sketchbook. Sweeeet.

Now don't get too excited

Upon gazing at the grand amount of food my parents have so thankfully donated to the "Feed Laura Fund" I took note of the Valentines candy. I wanted to let all of you know I am now searching for a Valentine. If any of you have any prospects please send them my way. I can't say that I won't be bias toward Ryan Reynolds we he hears that I am single and dumps Alanis Morissette.

Top 5 things you should not roll around naked in:

5. Cold Hard Cash
First off everyone has touched those bills at one point or another. Secondly, paper cuts are killer. There are just some places that you DON'T WANT A PAPERCUT.

4. Coinage
So let's say that you still want to roll around in money but you want to avoid paper cuts or maybe a hundred dollars looks better in quarters. Well, let me just say this; if a penny can get stuck in a child's nose, then I do not want to know where a quarter can get stuck. Ew.

3. Honey
Though they make it sound very sexy, at the end of the day, who really wants to walk around sticky with bugs hovering around them?

2. Sand
I know you've all see the Chris Isaac video and thought, "Gee wiz! Maybe, I took can be that hot by finding someone of the opposite sex and rolling around a beach with them!" No. Just no. There are all sorts of nasty things on the beach. Hello people! Haven't you heard about all those hypodermic needles people just toss onto the beach? I mean there you'd be, rolling around in the sand with your significant other and BOOM! You get AIDS and not the sexually transmitted way.

1. Parachutes
You could be having your fun and suddenly find yourself choking to death on one of those stupid strings. Let's face it people, death by string just isn't entertaining. Take Pearl Harbor for instance. Kate Beckinsale and Josh Hartnett could have DIED!!! Not that would have been a bad thing...

Finally please people, do not imitate the movies and try to make love on dining room tables, desks, and especially kitchen counters. There's nothing less romantic than burning your lover's butt because someone forgot that the stove was on.

Stupid "Effin" birthday!

Thing: It's like I'm in high school all over again and my life sucks
Stuck in my head "thing": Send the Pain Bellow by Chevelle

I believe that my title of this post pretty much some up tonight and the past...what?...like 3 days. Yeah...yeah!

stupid "effin" birthday...

I believe that life would be a whole lot simpler if the world was one giant skating rink and everyone's feet magically turned into roller blades. Yeah, that would make things A LOT easier. Think about it, you get to skate to your classes, skate to work, heck, you could skate in your dorm room! BOO YA! I think heaven is probably one giant skating rink. Yep I de-def-initely think that.

Excuse me while I attempt to eat yogurt without screaming in pain as it touches my teeth. Yay, for braces!

Why I love my roommate

Tamila: Wouldn't it be funny if you weren't the only one who was dating me?
Steve (the boyfriend): ::dead silence for about 5 seconds:: Yeah...that would be funny (sarcasim).

Everything's coming up Milhouse

I am: not well. My lungs hurt. My lungs hurt alot. I probably have lung cancer. Great. Just great. The day after my birthday and I have lung cancer. Ah yes, the birthday present that never stops giving.

Theme song: If there was some sort of song entitled "I am a bitter bitter child" then that would be my theme song for the day. I'm sure there is and I'm almost positive that it is written by Fred Durst.

As you can tell my birthday celebration was not as...um what's the word...riveting, as promised. I expect more over the weekend. YOU OWE ME WEEKEND! YOU OWWWWWE ME!!!

Anyway today has started off slow. I must say that I am quite eager to read the new Vanity Fair which feature the cast of Episode 3 on the cover. For some reason it appears that Natalie Portman is uncomfortably touching George Lucas. It's quite funny. She has this nasty smile on her face that makes me uncomfortable. Ewan looks much older on the cover then he is. I feel dirty thinking about how hot he is in Episode 1. On the plus side of things, if you unfold the cover to it's full length (which is quite long) you'll find that they have included the stars from all of the Star Wars movies. Including Jake Lloyd. Who was not good enough for the very front cover so they put him on like the 4th flap. It's great. That poor kid looks like he's been on crack for the past few years. Haha- NO OSCAR FOR YOU JAKE LLOYD!! YOU RUINED EPISODE ONE WITH YOUR CRAPPINESS!!!

Thus ends my blissful afternoon.

Sympathetic Tones

Theme song: "New Slang" by The Shins
I am: Ninja-fied

People can be so stupid sometimes. For instance they ask stupid questions with that tone of voice that signals pity. Like asking...
So how's work?

When they really are saying, "I know how much your work place sucks so I am showing interest only because my life is so boring that I find entertainment in your plights."
or
How's that friend situation of yours?
When clearly they just want to know if you're fighting like crazy so that some part of them that's empty can be filled with the pleasure of knowing that their life rocks more than yours.
Not that I have experience this at all. I haven't, at least not recently but I hear about this sort of thing every day and it saddens me. Saddens me to the MAX.

Photobucket

This is a test post from Photobucket.com

Antidisestablishmentarism aka word of the day

What antidisestablishmentarism is:
The people one who are against the people who are againist the establishment.

Me: So basicly if I was against the people who were against the FBI for some unknown reason like, I just felt that everyone should be loved or something, then I would be a part of Antidisestablishmentarism?
Tamila: Yes, yes you would.
Me: Well could I be a part of AntiAntidisestablishmentarism?
Tamila: Um...
Me: I mean if I was against the people one who are against the people who are againist the establishment?
Tamila: Then, yes you would be whatever the name for that would be.
Me: Hmm very interesting

REAL moral lessons

I just finished watching Coach Carter and have learned a very valuable lesson.

It's not that you shouldn't have unprotected sex or even avoiding abortion. It's that if you're going to have sex, you need to have it with an amazing basketball player that will get a full scholarship to an awesome college that will offer support to you and the baby.

Darn it...foiled again!

I am: voracious... mmmm voracious.
Quote of the year: "Mmm Sacrilicious."

I went out and bought some foil for an art project today and though scoping out the box isn't something I typical do, I needed to know how many feet I was getting for 75 cents. I think it is rare to find small print of the box of things such as, tissue paper and aluminum foil so you have to understand how amused I was when I found some VERY small print on this box that read, "If you are not 100 percent satisfied with our product just return it for a full refund." I started to think then. Why in the world would someone not be satisfied with their aluminum foil? I mean seriously now? COME ON!!!

"I'm sorry but I bought this foil for an art class and the fact that I got a B on my project leads me to believe that your product is defective. I demand my money back."
or
"Your foil promised long lasting freshness of my vegetables and to be frank, they only lasted three weeks. In my book that is just not good enough."

No Worries...I only have to wait 5 more months

I am: Well rested
Theme Music: "Buddy Holly" by the one, the only WEEZER

After a nice three weeks of rest I have come to my senses and decided to post some wonderfulness for everyone. GOODIE. I must say that this post will have to be somewhat short considering that...
  1. I have just walked from that way too scary parking lot in 12 degree weather not to mention that I messed up my hair in an attempt to make myself look like crap, which wasn't hard by the way, so that I would not get raped (because only pretty people get raped? Haha, no that joke went too far. I apologize greatly.) and now I cannot stand being awake and at my peek of ugliness.
  2. Classes start tomorrow and being the genius that I am I gave myself an 8 am drawing class. Uck. What was I thinking?
  3. I smell like crap. No seriously I do. Andrew even mentioned something. Haha, thanks Andrew. As if I COULDN'T smell myself. Therefore I have to use my hour break between classes to take a shower instead of sleeping.

I will leave you with this though. No matter what they say....Constantine will be a wonderful movie. SO PLEASE STOP SENDING ME TEXT MESSAGES THAT SAY "WATER COLD".

Twitchy McTwitch

I am: wondering if Ryan Reynolds can be any MORE attractive. I don't think so.
Currently Playing: "REV 22:20" by Puscifer featuring Maynard

Since last night, my left eye has been twitching like a small child on crack. It got so bad last night that I called my mom to find some kind of quick fix. Naturally, she said that it probably had something to do with me being over stressed and my lack of sleep. I believe my response was "Bah! I don't believe that. I think I have some kind of dangerous jungle-eye infection that will slowly spread to the rest of my body leaving me battered in the fetal position on the floor." I don't believe there was a response by my mother. I could almost hear her shaking her head. So, assuming that she was wrong and that I needed to make a mad dash to the ER, I continued out the night closing at the theater. Everything was going well, my eye hadn't twitched for a good 10 minutes and then I started talking to Ashley (new worker at the theater) and the second I started talking my eye went NUTS. So apparently, my mother is right. It's stress and I know EXACTLY what is stressing me out. Now...how shall I dispose of this stress?

Monday, November 15, 2004

and then I woke up to discover that yes, it was a bad day!

So last night's good day turned into, "Hi, I just wanted to get your hopes up and then crush them like a tootsie-pop" day. It was aweeesome. I feel very selfish complaining considering I can think of atleast one person wo is having a harder time then me so for today I will just insert random things into my post. Here we go..

While walking down the dorm hall to the stairway I peered into one of the rooms near the end and noticed that the girls in that room had some kind of poster of men wearing boxer briefs, hanging on their wall. I will be honest here and admit that I found it somewhat disgusting. They were very clean cut men who looked very homosexual. Why would you want to gaze at these only half way attractive, homosexual men? I mean if I wanted something to put on my wall and gaze at endlessly I am going to find a picture of Ryan Reynolds with his shirt off or possibly Will Smith at his best but then again that's just what I would do.

I have been working on CSC 110 homework for the past twenty minutes and I cannot seem to stop staring at this clip art inserted automatically into this spread sheet, of two puzzle pieces trying to put themselves together. I am disturbed by the image.

Day by Day

At 7:33 am I woke up, realized that I had class in less than 30 minutes, threw on some clothes, gathered my materials, jammed my large drawing pad under my arm, and ran out the door only to be shocked by the appearence of what might be Springfield's first monsoon.

Never as quiet as it seems

Theme Music: "Dreams" by The Cranberries
I am: sleepless in Springfield

I had another bad dream last night. I'm sure my subconscious is just playing with me now. Stupid subconscious. I SHALL OVERCOME YOU!

Bountiful selection at your discretion

Theme Music: "Bathwater" by No Doubt [is anyone surprised that I used this song AGAIN. No Doubt rocks my socks off]
I am: one with the force

My kiddie-Jedi-Costume went over well at work. I rocked. I find it somewhat sad that I had to buy my costume in the children's section of the Halloween store but whatever. I FIND IT SAD THAT I HAD TO GO INTO THE KIDDIE SECTION TO FIND IT. I mean, come on people. Being a Jedi for Halloween is a dream of adults as well.

In other Star Wars News:
The episode 3 trailer will most likely be on the Indredibles meaning that I might need to use my Jedi costume again when I go to the Employee preview on Thursday.

Communication, a telephonic invasion

Theme music: "Spiderwebs" by No Doubt
I am: avoiding actually working on my homework
On white board: "I'm throwing myself a pity-party. All are invited. Festivities shall include such famous games as

~Pin the Tail on the big butt
~10 things I hate about boys
and...
~Dude, I suck at school

Haha, boy I meant that to be more funny than depressing but I don't believe it came out that way. Oh well. -L."

Haha, phones suck. Haha yes they suck.

I'm working all projection shifts this weekend, which should give me a nice break from the randomness of working downstairs. The thing is that I really don't like going downstairs when I'm up in booth (It's a stupid superstitious thing) so I pretty much won't have any social interaction. It's all good. I get off work early enough each night to hang out with people after work. Not only that but I don't even have to run the late shows! BOO YA!!

I was able to enjoy X-Men 2 last night. Correction, I was able to gaze at hunky Hugh Jackman awesome abs last night. YOU'RE MY HERO HUGH JACKMAN!!! I did have to make fun of that girl who plays Rouge though. What a horrible actress!! There are more emotions than fear. Try experimenting with one for the heck of it!!!!!!!!

I have to make note cards for my art class now. This was fun. We should do this more often.

Prismacolor=wonderfulness

Stuck in my head/Theme music/Playing on my ipod: "Signed, sealed, delivered" by Stevie Wonder
I am: watching TV for the first time in weeks

The phone rang as I sat down to type this post so...I did the natural thing and answered it. At first the lady asked for "Laura." I replied that I was her. She began to make jokes about something, she mumbled way too much, and then requested that I get out my bible. "Um who is this again?" I said.
"Ohh I must have dial the wrong number."
::click:: and she hung up.

Weeeird.

I used my SMSU bookstore gift card to buy about 5 Prismacolor markers. Those suckers are expensive but definitely worth it. Ooo I played with them tonight and it was like drawing in heaven. I LOVE THEM!! Never will I touch a single Crayola marker again! NEVER.

Anger has consumed me

I regretibly report that it is 2:11 am and after doing my usual routine on my computer I am highly ticked off. People need to learn how to chill out because if they can't then they come off sounding like neurotic freaks.

Whatever.

Theme Music/stuck in my head: "Wait" by the Beatles

I am: looking for someone to go bowling with, play cards with, see a freakin' movie with, or heck, go with me to the skate park so that I don't get raped or mauled by pre-teen punks with sad "Good Charlotte" t-shirts.

I do not believe I can express how awful this week has been...and by week I mostly mean Thursday through today. I don't think it is completely necessary for me specify why my week/weekend was so crappy, mostly because explaining complicated projection problems is somewhat boring to those who have never been upstairs at the Springfield 8, but partially because if I go into what really pissed me off on Thursday, I might spurt into a violent rage that is somewhat reminiscent of a post dealing with Mrs. Bylander and an unfair grade or two. Let's just sum that day up with, "It is totally not fair to actually grade one in Art considering Art is all subjective."

I am bored at the moment. Quite bored. I really want to go bowling. I cannot stress how much I want to go bowling.

Ben Robles and much much more

Blaring over the radio: "New" by No Doubt (My roommate is playing it on her sweet action Apple. To make everything more awesome it's the remix of the song that I have never heard)

I am: Suffering from really bad breath

I ran into Ben Robles today. Not literally, even though that would have made this story slightly interesting. It's more like I saw him walking so I screamed, "BEEEEEEEEEnnnnn ROOOBLES!!!" It was great. He looked a bit stressed out though. Apparently he had just failed a mid-term and was prepared to fail and upcoming quiz. That's gotta hurt.

I "get to" house sit this weekend. There is no enthusiasm in that sentence. I guarantee it. Don't get me wrong, I love my house and all but it's so freakin' far away!!

I may have to make-out with my computer screen

::drool::

I just may have to make out with my computer screen. After recently discovering that pictures of the new Blade Trinity banners were release I ventured around the web until I found them. Upon finding them I realized that I have developed and unnatural love for Ryan Reynolds.

So here's what he looked like pre-blade (aka Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place stage)

And here he is a Hannibal King in all his glory

Now...I must admit that I have always had a thing for Ryan Reynolds but never to the point where I was seriously considering making-out with my computer screen.

I put the wallpaper from the Blade web site on my computer. I should have known that was a bad idea. All I want to do is stare at it.

Let's compare him again...

Cute, adorable, Ryan...

HOT SEXY PIECE OF SWEETNESS RYAN

My roommate, Rachel, agrees. He's way too hot for comprehension. She says it's all because of the facial hair but I say it's that AND his awesomely pumped up bod.

We both admit our love of guys with facial hair. Hey, some guys can pull it off and some can't. Ryan can...oh yeah, he definitely can!

I guess ink isn't permanent

Theme Song: "Agoraphobia" by Incubus
I am: Wondering why I am posting at 2:35 am instead of sleeping or atleast watching Bill Cosby

Upon taking off my suit jacket I caught a glance of my tattoo (on my upper back for those of you who have not seen it) and took notice of the odd shade of grey it had turned. It's fading.
Interesting.

Yes, awesome I say!

Art class was more amusing then usual tonight. I think the highlight of the entire 2 hours was when the teacher said that "as long as you read this chapter then the test should be as easy as pie." Expecting no one to hear, I said, "Mmm pie." Well, apparently the entire class not only heard but felt the need to turn around and stare. It was awesome and I say that with extreme sarcasm.

To make Art class even more interesting. The guy who I always talk about movies with threatened to steal my Nintendo Jacket which everyone knows is my precious.

Katelyn and I explored the Art Annex only to find that it is a dirty dirty place. Some paint would do that place some good. Some SERIOUS good.

Jimmy Eat World was on TV tonight. It gave me an excellent chance to review their new song "Pain." My final judgment is...good. Yes, I deem this song good. You all may buy their new Cd on Tuesday.

So that's why growling isn't something you do in public

Stuck in my head: "The small print" by Muse
I am: half asleep

I've got this one verse from The Small Print stuck in my head.

"Sell, I'll sell your memories
For 15 pounds per year
But just the good days"

Now I have to play that song on iTunes until my ears bleed. Great, just great.

I went by my house today in hopes of picking up my American Eagle charge card (which should have arrived today but sadly didn't meaning I will have to wait at least 24 more hours to scream for joy). I guess before I get too far into this story I should explain that I have two dogs. Yes, they are very cute but bark like the dickens when they see something interesting, in other words they are constantly barking. Well, when they bark I tend to play around with them by barking back. Geeze that sounds weird but I promise you that it's a normal thing to do. Kind of like when people want to go into their baby voices whenever they see a small child. It's a thing that people do...I don't know. ANYWAY, back to the story: I go out to the mail, running so fast that the raindrops couldn't possibly touch me (no, really but I'd like to think so) and as usual the dogs start barking. On my way back to the door I could see them barking through our awesome glass storm door so I did one of those weird faces as them and started growling, which drives them nuts because they can see me through the door but they sadly can't get to me. Haha, stupid dogs! All of the sudden I hear this car door close and turn around to see a repair man across the street just staring at me. I wasn't quite sure what to do so the both of us just stood there, staring at each other until I ran inside and started laughing hysterically.

Rachel has informed me that she may not return back to the dorms for quite some time.

"I may not even return. I'm just going to disappear."
"Okie dokie." I say while typing away at the computer, "Don't die."
"Oh I won't. I'll be ok." she says as she begins to walk out the door
"Ok good. Have a good time and eat some waffles."
At this point she stops in the middle of the door way and turns around completely to give me a look like What?! but I beat her there by doing my "Eh, I have no idea what I'm saying" shrug of the shoulders look. It was one of those roommate moments that you'll never forget.

Busting out the Pineapple Soda

theme song: "unsung" by Vanessa Carlton
I am: sipping on Pineapple soda

My eyes hurt...immensely. I just thought you all would like to know.

Andrew and I beat Silent Hill 4: The Room. The he busted out Mortal Combat Deception only to find out that his Xbox hadn't saved last time he played it, meaning that he had wasted 4 hours of his life beating Konquest mode for nothing. Now he has to go back and beat it again. I had never seen him so mad. I believe he said, "I am so angry I could beat the crap out of something!" I took that as my queue to leave. I felt really bad and somewhat irritated at the Xbox myself.

I am going to drown my sorrows of the day in some Pineapple Soda then sleep for about 7 hours.

Evilness

Theme Music: “Out of Control” by Hoobastank
I am: wet

Today was the first day that the sky decided to open up and puke up a nice batch of rain while I was walking to the class is the furthest away from my dorm. By the time, I made it into my computer class my hair was dripping; on the floor, the chair, and then on the keyboard.

Oh man, on Thursday I had the worst case of food poisoning in the history of man. I seriously thought that my stomach was trying to digest glass. I got out of my IDS 110 class, grabbed my stomach, and knew that I was about to puke my guts out (I hope you all enjoyed reading that lovely description). I never throw up, either so if I ever do that’s how you know that I’m gravely sick. I cannot express how much my stomach hurt. I almost went to the hospital it was so painful. DARN YOU CHICKEN FROM HELL! NEVER AGAIN, NEVER AGAIN!

I think what made my whole “food poisoning experience” worse was the fact that on Thursday; this girl in one of my classes wouldn’t shut up. First, you have to imagine me completely white faced because I looked like I had been jabbed in the gut one too many times. Well this girl who sits by me in one of my classes would just not shut up about how bored she was.

Her: “I totally hate this class. It’s totally ridiculous. I mean we don’t really do anything important in here anyway!!!”
Me: “ugh… I think I’m going to puke.”
Her: Don’t look now but a girl just walked in wearing the sluttiest of outfits. Oh my GOD! How does she live with herself looking like that? Look at her fat ___. That is so totally disgusting!
Me: “ugggh. My stomach is killing me.”
Her: “OMG when is this class going to be over? I’d rather shoot myself then sit her for another 15 minutes.” Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Me: Jesus…please save me from this girl!

I swear I almost knocked the crap out of her. But anyway.

Now I am off to finish the loads of homework I have for Art 115. Grr.

I will marry a hacker if it is the last thing that I do

Theme song: "Megalomaniac" by Incubus
I am: pumped!

Tonight could have possibly one of the best nights to be watching TNT…in the course of TV history. Not only did they show Anti-Trust but Wargames as well. So after seeing one awesome movie about computer hackers and whatnot I was wowed with another performance, by Mathew Broderick none-the-less as a computer genius gone horribly right! It was almost a perfect night, until I saw that they had no intention of continueing this awesome line up with a showing of Hackers. That’s when I cursed the name of TNT. How could you NOT play Hackers when you’re already playing two other movies about..well..hackers?! What has the world come to?! I am now doomed to go to Best Buy and shell out 10 dollars just so that I can see Jonny Lee Miller bring down an evil corporation trying to unleash the world’s greatest computer virus.

Memories of Georgia

For so reason I keep thinking about my trip to Atlant, Georgia. Uck, even though there are parts that I would like to forget. Like dropping my shoe in that nasty pond water.

But it was fun. Wet shoe or not.

I blame the frog.

Hope you guys enjoy just a taste of the photos from there.

This is just a test of the emergency posting system....I repeat this is just a test. Had this been a real emergency you would have been instructed to bang your head repeatedly against your computer monitor.

Once again this is just a test.

Thank you and that concludes this post of the day.

So...tired

Theme music: "Apocalypse Please" by Muse
I am: So freakin' hungry it's not even funny

Ray asked us to fast this Sunday and that's exactly what I've been doing for the past several hours. I do believe my stomach is digesting itself but hey, I'm getting closer to God.

I don't believe I'm going to be able to sleep much tonight. Andrew and I just finished playing another round of Silent Hill 4 and the image of that FREAKIN PINK BUNNY is pretty much giving me the creeps. ::shudders:: Stupid game...

And boy, when I hit that send button...

Theme music: "Pretty fly for a white guy" by The Offspring
I am: Hiding my face in my hands

Last night, Lori and I swapped stories of stupid things that we had recently done or said. She shared her Orkin Man story and I...yes I...shared one of the STUPIDEST RESPONSES I HAVE EVER SAID. I decided, because being slightly embarrassed is just not enough, that I would share my story the the viewers of this fine blog and allow them to laugh at the idiotic things that I say.

Honestly, this isn't really, a story. See, someone had sent me and email saying that they were "going to send me a thank you in the real mail" and me, being the deficient human being that I can be sometimes, I responded with, ::said in a very Napoleon Dynamite voice to further express how midless this comment was:: "That wouldn't be the kind of thank you that explodes, would it? (ha-ha boy that joke sounded funnier in my head)"

I cannot convey how ashamed I am that I thought that joke was actually funny. It's like one of those moments when you're talking and you THINK you know what you're going to say, because of course you've thought about it for a whole .001 seconds, but then you just blurt out one of the most ridiculous things ever.

::hides face in Nintendo jacket:: I have never sounded like more of a dork in my life. ::bangs head against keyboad:: But no, it's ok. I've lost all dignity but, it's ok. It made Lori's night.

Memories of today

Playing on iTunes: "Going away to College" by Blink 182
I am: pink!

Because Today was filled with wonderful moments, like:

"Wait, are you saying that there are different types of Metal [music]? ::pause:: Mind.....can't...comprehend... PLEASURE OVERLOAD!!" said in complete sarcasm to Katelyn when she asked what Death Metal Music was.

"You make me cry Katelyn"-Me
"Not as much as you make me cry Laura."- Said in a British accent by Katelyn

"What?! You were paid $11 to clean this entire room?! Sheesh. I'd pay you....::long pause::...at least $14!"- Me to Katelyn when she was talking about her sick-sad work-study program

"Don't eat the bananas"- Katelyn...being Katelyn

"No George no! STOP! NO STOP!! JUST STOP!!!"-Laura commenting on what she would say if she ever ran into George Lucas.

Moderately humorous story

Theme music: "Trapped in a box" by No Doubt
I am: weird

As many of my friends know, last season I bought a wicked awesome red and white "Nintendo" jacket from Hot Topic for half price. 20 bucks baby!!! OH YEAH. It brings me much joy. The other night I was wearing this jacket while hanging out with Kevin, Sandor, and Courtney over at the "K&A joint" (It's easier to call it that than to say "Kevin and Andrew's apartment") when Andrew returned home from one of the several jobs that he now has. At first he did the whole double take thing then said, "Why are you wearing my jacket?!" I laughed out of sear confusion because clearly THIS WASN'T HIS JACKET. Then I remembered how Andrew had bought a similar but less cool, mostly because it didn't have Nintendo on it, red and white jacket at American Eagle. I attempted to explain to him that it was MY jacket and then asked why in the world I would put on his clothes but he just seemed confused. I stopped my explaining and just turned around to show him the Nintendo logo on the back.
"Ohh." he simply said.
It cracks me up to think that I would be insane enough to put on pieces of his clothing. I should totally buy a guy's shirt at American Eagle (it doesn't matter which one, he owns the entire store) and wear it while hanging out with him. Why I am bent on freaking him out is still a mystery to me.

Why Teenage Mutant Turtles holds a dear spot in my heart

Casey Jones : Lead the way, toots.
April : "Toots"?
Casey Jones : Babe? Sweetcakes? Ah, Princess? You wanna throw me a clue here? I'm drowning.

Donatello : Good thing these guys aren't lumberjacks!
Michaelangelo : No joke! The only thing safe in the forest would be the trees!

Casey Jones : [About April's farmhouse] Didn't they use this place in The Grapes of Wrath?

Donatello : You're a claustrophobic.
Casey Jones : You want a fist in the mouth? I've never even looked at another guy!

Leonardo : Awesome!
Michaelangelo : Richeous!
Donatello : Bossanova!
Michaelangelo : Bossanova?
Donatello : Chevy Nova?

Aww that's cute

White board: We need to laminate more pictures of Ewan McGregor. He's too hot not to. -L

Theme song: "Angels or Devils" by Dishwalla
I am: Stuffed

When walking from the Plaster Student Union (or the PSU for short) I saw what could possibly be the most adorable couple in the entire world. As they walked hand in hand I noticed that the girl wore a shirt stating "I like Ike" and he wore a shirt saying "I [heart aka love] JC."

Ironically, there is a psycho couple fighting outside my window. Every so often, I hear the most vulgar of obscenities. I'm learning so much at college.

Why is it that I can't reach my sketch book when I need it most?

White board: Our sink now drains! The Lord does work in mysterious ways! -Laura "Queen of the Apes"
Theme music: "Bittersweet" by Falling up
I am: Blurry

It's day 4 of my cell phone and I STILL can't download ringtones and whatnot to it. Grr. Grr I say! Why get a fancy-smancy phone if you can't use all it's awesome features.

I am also still listening to Green Day's "American Idiot" album. What can I say? I am in love with it.

In art related news:
I started to add on to a few pieces I've done in the last month by doing a few water color washes over them. So far I have created crap but colorful crap none the less. Whopeee! I also have the sudden urge to have some serious Sharpie fun.

Much Randomness

Theme song: the sound of a copier
I am: borrowing time at the Cheek computer lab

I was let out of class about 20 minutes early and realized that by the time that I walked to some place that might, just might, hold my interest for more than 3 minutes that I'd just have to get up and walk to my next class. I guess that' s why I am in the computer lab writing this utterly pointless post filled with much randomness.

An intense pain had become apparent in my hand so I guess this post will be short. Who hoo.

I really don't have anything to post. I just wanted to show off what our white boad says today because it's funny.

Theme song: "American Idiot" from the brand spankin' new GREEN DAY CD. BOO YA!
I am: Cold, oh so very cold. Brrr, what is the thermostat set at? Sixth Sense coldness? Geeze!

Ok...so yes I have discovered this wonderful site named "site meter" which not only lets you know how many people visit your site by the hour but also lets you know all sorts of info about them such as the time zone they are in or...what ISP they have. It's so nifty that it can even tell you what parts of your site they've looked at.

Today when I was checking it I took note of someone looking at some of my VERY OLD POSTS from November 2002. Upon checking what I had written that month, I became horribly embarrassed. HORRIBLY!! Look, whoever visited my site at Sep 21 2004 1:15:56 pm Pacific Standard Time using Microsoft WinXP and Internet Explorer 6.0, I was young and angry!! I was also very crazy. I HAVE VERY MUCH SO CHANGED!!! Lol, I can hear my roommate cracking up now.
"GEEZE RACHEL CAN I GET SOME SENSITIVITY HERE!! M. COME ON! PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET THINK I'M CRAZY OR SOMEKIND OF OBSESSIVE FREAK (which I am not. I am very much so stable)."

BTW Green Day's new album may very well be the BEST album of the year. Buy it people! Where else are you going to hear a "pop-rock opera?"

Why my friends love my voice messages

Theme Song: "Long View" by Green Day
I am: killing time

I must start this post off with “Blah” because that is what I would love to scream at everyone. Just “blah”: plain and simple.

Rachel and I shared horrible voice mail experience today but I think mine totally thrashed her attempt at “funniest message ever recoded.”

Judge for yourself:
“Hey ________,
It’s Laura. I was just returning your call and wanted to let you know that this week is going to be hard to schedule a meeting just because of work but if you call me later this week I’m sure…OH MY GOSH. Oh my gosh Oh my gosh Oh my gosh Oh my gosh Oh my gosh! [sounds of car coming to a screech] I ALMOST HIT A FREAKIN CAT! DUDE, IT CAME OUT OF NO WHERE! [heavy breathing] Goodness that was close. I think it’s gone now. [THUMP SCREECH] What was that? Did I just hit that cat? AHEEEEE!! Oh my gosh Oh my gosh Oh my gosh Oh my gosh!!!! [car breaking/driver side door opens and closes] Oh wait, no it’s ok. That was just a rock. Haha. Cat, rock: same difference.
Am I still leaving a message?
Ummm…anyway just call me back.
You can rest easy knowing that the rock is fine.”

"I declare I don't care no more" aka another Green Day post

Theme Song: "Burn out" by Green Day

On a side note: Green Day's new CD comes out tomorrow. I encourage you all to
get your lazy butts out of those comfy computer chairs and buy it. ALL OF YOU!
I am: Sickened

Uck, I’m not quite sure why I’m posting…as usual; I am not in the mood. I was going to share to all how crappy of a day I had but I’d rather not show more teenage angst than I already do for that may increase the number of people who think I am some kind of teenybopper. SWEET MOLASIS PEOPLE I AM NOT 16!
Therefore, instead of some kind of post that sounds more like the lyrics to a Green Day song than the rational thoughts of a college student, I have decided to entertain all with an entertaining Tamila and Laura story. Ah yes, those were the days.
Back in sophomore year, I practically lived at Tamila’s house; I was spending the night so much. Well, as a little ritual that we’d do before finally falling asleep at 4am I’d come up with these ridiculous “what if” questions and of course these scenarios were so far fetched that the thought of it even happening could only cause mass hysteria. I’d always make up some kind of situation involving, her current boyfriend of the time and Tiger woods (her current obsession). I was always trying to get her to betray her boyfriend for Tiger Woods. Why? Because I was a sick, sick human being that’s why. ::giggles uncontrollably::
This one night I came up with my most pathetic attempt.
“So Tamila, let’s say that you are left alone in Kendall’s room for about 5 minutes and you feel the need to creep through his stuff and in doing so you find a strange collection of Tiger Woods paraphernalia. Upon further investigation, you find what appear to be ‘paparazzi-like’ pictures of Tiger by the pool and changing clothes. At the exact moment that you are taking a closer look, Kendal walks into the room, mouth gaping open. What do you do?”

As usual, it was a “Tamila” response:
“Well, I kindly say to Kendall ‘Sweetie, honey bunch, sugar-bun, this whole Tiger obsession has got to go. Look, there is only room for one person in Tiger’s life and let’s just face it. You’re not his type.”

I like swimming in the sea

Theme music: "Beyond" by Cadet
I am: discombobulated

I just got back from playing poker at Lori's new house and I am ashamed to admit that not only was this my first time playing poker but I also lost all of my chips within the first hour. It was so horrible that everyone felt the need to constantly make fun of me, which was fun the first 2 hours and then it just became redundant and annoying.

On the other hand I beat Daniel 4 times at Speed and beat Daniel AND Ryan at least once at Double Down. Considering it was the first time I had played Double Down in about a month and some, I was impressed.

My mom's surgery went ok. We're still waiting for some test results though. Uck, I hate waiting. Patience is a virtue that I do not have.

"I tried talking to Jesus but He just put me on hold Said He’d been
swamped
by calls this week And He couldn’t shake His cold"- Colin Hay

I love that line. It's such a Dave Eggers line.

I LOVE YOU MARK RYDEN!!

Theme music: "Learning how to smile" by Everclear
I am: shocked that Sunny-D is not orange juice

So I am highly ticked because one of my favorite artists, Mark Ryden, not only was at the San Diego Comic-Con International, 2004 but he also has a NEW exhibit at the Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, California which only makes me want to go to California more. I've come to the conclusion that I will NEVER be able to see his work up close. I really wanted to see his "Blood" exhibit because of all the awesome reviews but I never got the chance. Once again not living in California has hindered my life. DARN YOU CALIFORNIA AND YOUR AMAZING ART EXHIBITS!!!

Bills

Theme music: "Songs from an american movie" by Everclear
I am: Wondering why in the world no one told me how wonderful orange spray paint is

I have a vandalism problem and I think that I have take the first step by admitting that it does exist. First it was writing on every bathroom stall on the way to and from Georgia and now it’s dollar bills.
The other day, while working box, I became very bored. More bored then I had ever been in my entire life. I decided to show some imitative and do something about it so…I started writing on one dollar bills. It wasn’t as if I was destroying the image of the bill. In fact it was in that very small border in which nothing sits. I thought of how awesome it would be if one of my friends was handed a dollar bill and found their name and “rocks my face off” on it. So started putting “ [insert name here] rocks my face off” on about 20 bills. Though it would have been killer if I had done several names, I realized that it would take longer for them to circulate back so I only did two names. I feel as though if I were to tell those names then the element of surprise would be destroyed so I everyone will just have to wait about twenty years to see if it was them who I destroyed government property for. How sad. By the end of my shift, I had successfully written on 25 one-dollar bills and had handed them back to customers.

Apparently, it is a federal offense to vandalize currency. Eh, whatever. I always wanted to see what it was like in prison. I can see it now. Me in a jail cell with some burly woman as she tells me about how she stabbed some secret service guys. “So what are you in for?” she will ask.
“I wrote on some one-dollar bills.” I shall say.

::cough cough:: No Rachel, I'm not dead yet

Theme Music: "Hysteria" by Muse
I am: lacking in the lung department

I've been sick for the past week if you can't tell by the title. You'd think my teachers would be annoyed with the coughing and would just tell me to go home and get some sleep but no.they actually want me to attempt to learn while I lose a vital body part.

I feel so bad for my roommate Rachel because I'm sure I'm keeping her up at night with the cough and the sniffing and the wheezing. It's all good though she talks in her sleep.

I'm sitting here, typing this as I wear my uber comfortable yet 4 sizes too big Oak Grove "Uncut" t-shirt. Its yellowness makes me happy. Kristin has offered do her shrink-a-dink process to it, for a price of course, but I don't know. I have trust issues and this is one of my favorite shirts.

I'm pretty tired considering I just spent a good 5 hours cleaning the office at the eight. Oh, man it was great! I got all these wicked awesome stickers from random things. I also found a year-old pixie stick and ate it. That pretty much grossed out Mike (general manager) but I informed him that Pixie Sticks are pure sugar and sugar NEVER goes bad. It did taste pretty nasty though. Uck...I think I can still taste that rancid grape in my mouth. Excuse me while I brush my teeth.

It's not a problem until I say so DARN IT!

Theme Music: "Goodrich Quality Theater Theme Song"
I am: awaiting the release of the NEWEST edition of Trainspotting on DVD

I believe I have some how created a DVD buying addiction. I find myself buying more and more DVDs and it is becoming somewhat of a problem. This week I plan on getting "Clerks" the 10th anniversary addition which I can afford but only because I received $50 in the mail from a loving relative who didn't realize that I graduated about 4 months ago. After this little spree I promise to stop. I will just have to deal with not being able to say that I own such beloved DVDs as "The Punisher" or "Angel: season 4" ::sigh::

GET THE LEAD OUT

Theme music: "Fly" by New Anthem (new obsession of mine)
I am: questioning how much wood a wood-chuck could really chuck

Last night Andrew, Nicole, Christa, and I all went to Nubrew and saw two of the coolest Christian bands in the world. Education of Monkeys (who played at my church on Wednesday) and New Anthem ::drools all over keyboard::. It turns out that the Lead Guitarist is what I like to refer to as "eye candy.” I tried to get Andrew to go up to him and talk to him for me (because yes, I am still in Junior High) but he put up a fight. "What do you want me to say?! ::in a very feminine voice:: 'You played so well tonight! You guys are just so hot right now!'" "Fine! Mock me all you want!" I responded. To make a long story short there was no interaction between cute guitar man and I. He was too busy with the blonde high school bimbos.

Random story time:
When Tamila and I were in the 9th grade, we were pretty much attached at the hip. I remember how did stupid stuff all the time like starting new catch phrases. We even came up with the term "He has a little sweet in his tooth" which refers to one "sounding gay.” Then if a guy walked "gay" we'd say he "had a little shimmy in his shake." Well, the other day I was waiting for the elevator and I overheard this guy talking to his roommate and I couldn't help but think "Dude, that guy has so much 'sweet in his tooth' that he probably has cavities!" I attempted to cover up my laughter by running away but the second I hit the door to my room I cracked up. I ended up calling Tamila just so that I could have someone else to share in the laughter.
Tamila and I came up with stupid phrases like that all the way through high school When her debate partner Matt gave up rides home we’d roll down the windows and literally scream “GET THE LEAD OUT” at the small children walking home. Actually, it wasn’t even just small children. I believe that we yelled that at anyone who was walking…good times. Good times. How we were never beaten up is a mystery to me.

I have concluded that all art schools have the SAME EXACT ESSAY QUESTIONS. I swear there must be some kind of generic application floating around that schools just photo copy and give out.I've also found that these schools tend to take more interest in you when you mention that you will be transferring into their school. I've never received more phone calls from schools in my entire life!! I'm planning on going up to the Kansas City Art Institute next month to talk to one of their people. I've already done this once so this time it should go about 10 times faster. Finally:Natalie and Hannah will be excited to hear that my stellar photo album will be open to the public soon. So you guys will finally be able to get in without having to type in the lame password, I gave you, every time.

Put on hold

Theme Music: "Beautiful World" by Colin Hay (it's on the wonderful Scrubs soundtrack)
I am: wondering if that stuff on the ceiling is cottage cheese or rotten milk

If this is your first time to my site I must explain that yes, my life does rock and yes, I am happy about 95% of the time but every so often I will have a bad day and feel the need to share my crappy emotions with all my friends (and occasionally a random visitor to my site). I do use this site as my "journal" so what I post here I wouldn't just randomly come out and say to some one but I understand that this is public and therefore open for anyone to see but if I didn't post about those bad days I wouldn't really be human I'd just be some kind of cheapened version of a carebear. No one really likes cheap carebears do they? I think I have a pretty awesome mixture of funny stories and silly anger posts. I do worry that people will assume certain things about my posts...then think I'm some kind of weird freak...and call the police but I'm sure people know better than to assume and would email me if they had further questions about posts before they would commit me. One might hope that's how it would go.

Oh Goodness there is a strange construction worker hanging on a rope outside my window. He just freaked the living heck out of me. Now he is looking at me. I will avoid all eye contact. ACK IT'S NOT WORKING!!!!

Did I mention that all construction work on my resident hall was supposed to be done about a month ago? Lies I say! ALL LIES!

What did you say?

Theme music: "Heroin Girl" by Everclear
I am: appearently starting the trend of looking hung over

I believe one of the girls on my floor just informed me that I look hung over. I told her I wasn't and probably could have explained that I don't drink but that would require energy...something I have absolutely none of. When I got back into the room and looked in the mirror I realized that yes..I look very hung over.

I should start a trend. The "I'm not hung over but I sure look like it" look. It could be all the rage.

The Cat Lady of Guadalupe and my 7 year plan

Theme music: "My December" by Linkin Park
I am: Strangely shaking from either a lack of sleep, stress, or some kind of unknown fear about bunk-beds. Heck it could be all three for all I know.

I told Kevin and Andrew that if I started collecting two cats a year starting with my next birthday I'll be able to be "The Cat Lady of Guadalupe" by the time I'm 25. Andrew kind of giggled and Kevin just looked at me with confusion and said, "Why would you want to do a thing like that and be a freak?" At which point I had to explain to him that my cats were going to be my only source of companionship and finding companionship with fifteen cats is not a "freak" like thing to do. Old ladies do it everyday. I'm just getting a head start. He made some kind of smart comment about "companionship" which I do not care to repeat and I gave him the evil eye. And thus is the story of the second time I have ever given Kevin the evil eye.

OMG IS THAT DR. WILLIS?

Theme music: Pretty Fly (for white guy) by The Offspring
I am: wondering where my scotch-tape went

There I was sitting outside of my IDS 100 class and then I saw him. In all his glory he walked right by me. He was exactly how the head of the SMSU art department WOULD look like. Thin with long grey hair pulled back into a pony tail, casual button-up shirt, with classy tie, and glasses that just enhanced the intellectual look. I wasn't quite sure what to do other then stare open-mouthed. I had to contain my urge to stand up and scream...My art career is resting in your hands!

In other news:

Hannah is now allowed to leave me about 10 million voice messages just because they make my day. For instance...

"Hey Laura, it's Hannah. I left your pictures by the front door. I am now off to Borders where I will sit in a corner, eating a cookie, while I read obscure British music magazine by myself. The end. Bye."

That made my day.

In other...other news you all will be happy to hear that God has decided to spite me even more and my life has become even sucky-er. I mean it's not like the past month hasn't been hard enough but wow I mean I must have really pissed off God.

Not only am I going to be evaluated in projection on Friday by Daniel but my mother is now having surgery which scares the living heck out of me. I couldn't even tell Courtney without starting to tear up. I covered it up well by pointing to the TV and screaming, "Is that the guy from Quantum Leap?!" I rock at covering up emotions. BOO YA!
